The Twin Arrows Two children. Two journeys. Twin arrows. Ryla follows her father's parting instructions as closely as she carries his gift. Her protectors are kind, and safety is certain inside the convent's strong walls. But now she must leave and what lies ahead is uncertain... Her brother Drewin won't wait any longer. The knight promised to escort him isn't coming, and gossiping neighbors threaten to reveal his identity. He strikes out on his own, sure he can outrun the danger... This little book was an enjoyable read! The descriptions of characters and settings were amazing! I felt like I was really in the book! The characters were relatable and enjoyable! As much as it was fun to read, it lacked a little in the plot and was pretty fast paced, something which I didn't intend on. I played a lot of guessing to try to figure out the backstory and near the end of the book, the story finished itself too quick. Other than that, I enjoyed it! It was short and *spoiler alert* ended sweet! *end of spoiler alert* I love the lessons that were taught and learned by Drewin! This would be a great book for boys and girls ages 8-16 I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
